Oils are explained on the 'Why dōTERRA?' page and can be either used aromatically, topically or internally. Below we have listed the core essential oils for the main types of imbalances.
Supplements are generally recommended to be used on a daily basis to help support the body with foundational health and to help increase the effectiveness of the oils. We believe the body can heal itself when given the right environment. Supplements play a very important part in helping to optimise this environment. All of the supplements can be ingested.
Softgels are easily digestible forms of the oils that can be taken on a daily basis. They also make it easier to take more drops at a time which is often needed to help the body heal more effectively. Softgels are sometimes recommended instead of the oil and this is indicated by a star. Other times they offer an alternative option, for example, if you don’t like the smell or taste of a certain essential oil it might be easier to take in capsule form.
